It began as a need to support his district in implementing effective practices for students. Soon, though, Job saw that there was a definite gap in the available literature for straight-forward practical applications of brain science research. So he combined his experience as a classroom teacher, school administrator, and district leader with his professional speaking experience and developed the book "The Whole Child School." The goal of his book is to equip teachers and school leaders to support their students in all settings, through a straight forward guide that can be used in all levels of education.
The website was born soon after the book, with the opportunity for educators to bring Job to their schools and discuss their successes, struggles and specific questions. Ultimately, we hope to create a community of educators who look at what we do as more than the "Three R's." We are involved in The Whole Child School - whether we like it or not.
